For the second weekend in a row, a Liverpool result has hinged on a red card. What was Yarmoliuk thinking? And what is he thinking now?

Sky Sports' Nick Wright at the Gtech Community Stadium:"Boos from the home fans greet the final whistle. "And a comically short and sharp message from the stadium announcer, who says, 'Thanks for your attendance, good night.'" It should have been more comfortable in the end for Liverpool, who had chances to kill the game but couldn't.

"Not the most convincing performance, but they made their man (and then two-man) advantage count. A big win at a difficult ground."

Paul Merson on Soccer Saturday:"If Brentford stay with 11 men, there's no way they lose that match."

Paul Merson on Soccer Saturday:"It's not been convincing at all."

FULL TIME! It's all over at the Gtech - what a game we've seen this afternoon! Keane Lewis-Potter's header put Brentford in front, but Yehor Yarmoliuk's straight red card before the break changed the game. Victor Munoz then levelled for Liverpool, before Alexander Isak clinically put the Reds in front on his return from injury.

The hosts' afternoon got worse late on, too, with Vitaly Janelt shown a second yellow to leave them with just nine men. Stay tuned for a full report, reaction and FREE highlights!

90+5: CHANCE! Liverpool have another chance to kill the game off, but Lewis Koumas can't steady himself after a slip to even so much as test Caoimhin Kelleher.
