Drake Maye threw three touchdown passes, including Efton Chism's one-handed catch with just under two minutes remaining, as the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills 29-26. Maye's 23-yard TD pass to Chism came on 3rd-and-5, with the receiver bringing the ball in with his right hand and maintaining control in the end zone. Maye then hit Stevenson for the two-point conversion.
Despite having a minute left and the ball at their 40-yard line, Josh Allen turned overly aggressive. On 2nd-and-6, he spun out of Dre'Mont Jones' sack attempt, stepped up in the pocket and looked for Josh Palmer deep, only to have his underthrown pass intercepted by Craig Woodson.
Kyren Williams ran for two touchdowns in the final four minutes as Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams rallied from a 10-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20.
The Rams (2-2) had struggled offensively all afternoon and a win seemed out of reach until late in the fourth quarter, when Eagles coach Nick Sirianni decided against kicking a chip-shot field goal that would have made it a three-score game and instead went for it on fourth down.
The Eagles (2-2) failed to convert, giving the Rams new life, who were then aided by an unnecessary roughness penalty that helped them cap a 98-yard drive on Williams' goal-line TD plunge with 3:59 left that made it 20-17. The Eagles - who failed to convert a single third down on 12 tries - punted to set up Stafford for the winning drive.
He connected with Puka Nacua three times and had a clutch eight-yard scramble on the 10-play, 79-yard march, which Williams finished off by breaking a few tackles for the game-winning seven-yard score.
CeeDee Lamb had a career-high 17 catches for 189 yards and his 12-yard TD reception with 40 seconds left lifted the Dallas Cowboys to a 34-30 win over the still winless Houston Texans. Javonte Williams ran for a career-high three touchdowns - all in the second half - to help the Cowboys (2-2) to the victory.
Dallas had trailed by four after a six-yard touchdown run by Woody Marks with about two and a half minutes to play. But Dak Prescott then orchestrated an 11-play, 74-yard drive that included a fourth down conversion and capped it with the scoring strike to Lamb to give the Cowboys the victory.
Nico Collins had seven receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns in his return after missing two games with a hamstring injury, but his big day wasn't enough to earn Houston (0-4) their first win of the season.
Trevor Lawrence passed for 227 yards and a touchdown and the Jacksonville Jaguars' defense forced two critical turnovers as they held off the Cincinnati Bengals in 22-17 road win. Joe Burrow passed for 428 yards for the Bengals, who lost All-Pro wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase to a concussion in the second quarter. Tee Higgins had 11 receptions for 151 yards.
Burrow, who completed 39 of 54 passes, also had two interceptions - one that Jacksonville converted into a touchdown and the other when the Bengals were in the red zone.
The Bengals had a final chance to rally and drove to the Jaguars 21-yard line, but Chase Brown was stopped a yard short on 4th-and-10, seeing the Jaguars to go 3-1 for the second-straight year, while the Bengals drop to 2-2 after back-to-back losses.
Lamar Jackson threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns before leaving the Baltimore Ravens' 24-18 win over Tennessee Titans with an ankle injury. Zay Flowers had eight catches for 118 yards and a TD, while Derrick Henry scored against his former team, as the Ravens (3-1) snapped a four-game home losing streak. The injury to their two-time MVP quarterback will be a concern, however.
Jackson took a sack in the final seconds of the first half, with his left ankle appearing to roll under a Tennessee defender. Tennessee (0-4) are 6-32 since Henry left the Titans to join the Ravens via free agency before the 2024 season.
Jameis Winston threw three touchdown passes to offset a pair of interceptions as the New York Giants beat the Arizona Cardinals 36-24. Making his second start in place of injured franchise quarterback Jaxson Dart, Winston again did what he needed to do to engineer a victory with TD passes to Malachi Fields, Malik Nabers and Theo Johnson.
Winston's 12-yard toss to Fields with 4:30 remaining in the second quarter was the team's first touchdown since the season opener, ending a drought that lasted nine-plus quarters. Winston finished 18 of 29 for 250 yards in a roller-coaster showing of highs and lows. JJ McCarthy was in uniform six days after the Giants (3-1) acquired him in a trade with Minnesota but did not play.
Deonte Banks had a 98-yard pick-six in the final seconds to ice the Giants' victory as the Cardinals (1-3) dropped a third straight.
Kyle Monangai rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns as the Chicago Bears stuffed the New York Jets for a 23-12 victory. Devin Bush, Austin Booker and Dayo Odeyingbo each had a sack as Chicago limited New York to seven first downs and 157 yards overall. The Bears have allowed a total of 28 points in three games since their wild 59-37 victory at the Carolina Panthers in their season opener.
Tyson Bagent passed for 268 yards for Chicago (3-1) and Cairo Santos kicked three field goals. Rome Odunze had six receptions for 94 yards. Minkah Fitzpatrick stopped New York's NFL-record interception drought at 20 games, but the Jets (1-3) dropped their third consecutive game since their season-opening win at the Tennessee Titans.
Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes as the Green Bay Packers overcame two fourth-quarter turnovers to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels threw two picks that led to 10 points in his first career start filling in for Baker Mayfield, who missed a game for the first time in his three-plus seasons in Tampa Bay because of a dislocated thumb.
The Packers (2-2) wasted two opportunities to extend a three-point lead in the fourth quarter but the Buccaneers couldn't capitalise. The Buccaneers are 0-4 for the first time since 2014. Only the 1992 Chargers overcame an 0-4 start to make the playoffs.
