Tottenham host Coventry as search for first league win continues LIVE!

Sky Sports' Patrick Rowe at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:"The home fans are in full voice ahead of this one. Quite the atmosphere building ahead of kick-off."They always show up and they need their players to repay that loyalty this evening."Jamie Carragher described it as a must-win game - and he's right."

Tottenham remain without a Premier League victory this season (D3 L3) and have scored just three goals. Only in 1912-13 (first 12) and 2008-09 (first 8) have they had a longer winless start to a league season, while three goals in six games is their second lowest ever, behind the two they scored in 2006-07.

Can James Maddison be the one to help Tottenham overcome their struggles in front of goal?

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi speaking to Sky Sports: “I think we have the right squad and the right quality of players, so we can find solutions. I'm sorry about the injuries because Sávio and Lucas Bergvall played very well in Manchester, but we move on and focus on the game." On impact of Marbella: “I have big confidence in my players, both as people and as players.

We have many new players and, without a pre-season or the right time to spend together, I think it was important to organise a training camp for four or five days. “For me, it was important to create relationships, build the team and develop the mentality.”

Tottenham have just three wins in their last 25 home Premier League matches (D7 L15). Since they played their first game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April 2019, only Wolves at Molineux (57) and Southampton at St Mary’s (52) have more defeats at one stadium than Spurs at their current ground (50).

Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke speaking to Sky Sports: “I think we played a really good game, especially in the first half against United. We probably should have been a few goals up at half-time. “It was a great performance from us, but we know we need to have that extra edge and make sure we capitalise on our chances. “It’s definitely something to build on. We’re feeling good.

We had a good training camp in the week, we’ve been bonding very well and hopefully we can go on a good run now.”

Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke speaking to Sky Sports: "We’ve been staying positive all season.“We know results haven’t gone our way and we haven’t been good enough, but tonight we’ve got a good feeling.“Hopefully we get a win at home and build from here.”

Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke speaking to Sky Sports: “I think we’re very close. We’ve had a lot of good spells in games. We haven’t quite managed to kill the game off, so it’s something we need to work on.“We’re feeling good. We feel like we’re building towards something. We just need it to click a bit and hopefully it comes tonight.”
