Jackson at the double as Villa end Man City's perfect start - reaction LIVE!

Clinton Morrison on Soccer Saturday:"That is how Villa are going to play this season because they have pace in abundance up front. They were never going to dominate against Man City, City dominated, but did not really create numerous chances like you see with a Man City team."

This Villa team are flying at the moment, it feels just like last season when they started off slow and then all the new players became integrated, but the change is this season they have lost so many key players and brought in so many younger players and can they adjust? Yes they can."

They have a lot of injuries to defensive players, especially full backs, but going forward they are a threat and Emery is a genius, he is one of the best around." And let me tell you something - Jackson could be one hell of a signing, it could turn out to be a bargain signing, he is an outstanding player, he causes problems and is so unpredictable.

You do not know what you're going to get from him, he is a handful and he caused City so many problems." Villa are flying at the moment...."

Nicolas Jackson speaking to TNT Sports:"Incredible, it was difficult but we got the win. "I'm injury free and hopefully I can keep working. "I'm very happy with the manager, players and fans. We can win more games." It's easier because of the coach. It's an incredible dressing room. An incredible manager. Hopefully I can score many more goals. "It's just the beginning."

Sky Sports News reporter Anton Toloui at Villa Park:"What a win for Villa - two shots on target, two goals, three points." The stats make it look like City dominate this, but in reality, Villa had this under control. They were physical, savvy and strategic." City were sporadic and frustrating. Unai Emery has put a curse on Man City over the last few years."

FT: VILLA GET THE POINTS!Man City's winning streak is over. It's Unai Emery again that gets the better of them. This is four home wins in a row against Manchester City now for Emery. He is working his magic again. This Villa rebuild is ahead of schedule. They were magnificent with Jackson getting the goals that won the game.

90+2: CHANCE FOR HAALAND! City should have done more of this direct into Haaland stuff. Anderson clips a ball into the middle and Haaland wins the header again. This one lacks power and Suzuki holds on. That should be that.

Clinton Morrison on Soccer Saturday:"Villa have been comfortable and clinical today, but City have been poor in this second half, although they are now knocking on the door." I cannot believe Maresca took Ndiaye off, he was their best player." Jackson, who has now been subbed, has been the difference between the two sides, outstanding performance from him."

89: CHANCE FOR HAALAND!! Foden clips one in from the by-line and Haaland wins the first contact, much like his goal. This header though is cleared away by Maatsen.

88: Comfortable this for Aston Villa. No momentum in City's play.Their winning run is coming to an end it seems.

Sky Sports' Adam Bate at Villa Park:"Villa have coped well since going in front with Madjo and Goretzka adding real physicality now too."
